About H.O.P.E.
Since 1990 over 46,000 households totaling more than 184,000 needy people have been helped with over $1,000,000.
This money has helped pay for electricity, heating fuel, food, medicine, and other emergency needs.
HOPE office is located inside the Church of Ascension.
Who is H.O.P.E.?
H.O.P.E. is made up of volunteers from many member churches and the community, Volunteers answer the phones, take the necessary information, and attempt to find the resources to meet the need.
Volunteers also work in the monthly food drop and give out food to clients in need and are available to take calls Monday thru Thursday from 9:00 AM to 12:00 noon.
HOPE provides help in a time of need to families in St. Mary's County. Serving St. Mary's County linking resources with people in need.
